"For I will refresh the weary soul and replenish all who are week."

- Jeremiah 31:25

Why an Armory?

Whether it’s restoration of your masculine heart, discovering your role in the larger story, healing of your wounds, learning to resist the enemy, or intimacy with God, it doesn’t happen with a snap of your fingers, it’s a process, it’s a battle. You have an enemy who is opposed to your spiritual restoration, so your going to have to fight for it. That’s why we have created this Armory, to equip you with the weapons, and tools you will need to win this battle. So use the resources below, and find the weapon you need most to help you fight the battle you are currently in.

Prayer is the heart of the Christian life, the greatest weapon we have for bringing the breakthrough we long for, finding guidance, and simply developing a deeper life with God. Every day you must take your place in Him and cut off the attacks that come at you.

River of Life Prayer

The Life of God, for his people, flowing as a river, but also as a tree and its fruit. I can’t wait to drink from that water, taste that glorious fruit! God doesn’t keep his life to himself; he pours it forth for all creation, and especially his sons and daughters. We know Jesus wants us to draw upon this life, for he said he came that we might have his Life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). Scripture says we are meant to “reign in life” through Jesus Christ (Romans 5:17). O how we need more of the Life of God in us, particularly in these days.

The Daily Prayer

We strongly urge you to pray The Daily Prayer, it is so important for realigning and recommitting yourself to God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. There are two essential parts to this prayer, one is taking your place in the full work of Christ, bringing yourself back under his authority. The second is using the authority of Christ to cut off attacks from the enemy. We have experienced including this prayer in our lives and not, we have chosen to include it. It really does make a big difference.

St. Patricks Breastplate

This prayer is attributed to Ireland’s patron saint, St. Patrick. Wrote in 433 AD for divine protection before converting the Irish King Leoghaire, and his subjects from paganism to Christianity.

Daybreak Prayer

Perhaps this prayer is best named as a sort of centering liturgy. What began as the Carpool Prayer has formed into The Daybreak Prayer. The first year, our 1.0 version was simply leading the kids out loud through putting on the armor of God. After almost a decade of formation, we’re on the 7.0 version. This prayer continues to work in us and we through it. With every emerging version, we feel invited deeper and deeper into God’s Kingdom.

A Prayer for Life

Inspired by George MacDonald’s description of why Jesus came. This is a prayer focusing on Christ’s promise for life.

Gatherings of Men

The offer of Jesus is life, but your journey to take hold of it will be the fight of your life. You can win that fight, but you cannot do it alone. Share the battle with men who want the same things you want and have to fight through the same stuff to get it. There is tremendous hope and power in each of our stories, which is why we take a few hours together off the front lines. Stories among good men embolden, bring deeply needed perspective, instruct, inspire, and are medicine to the soul.
